The Plant Paradox (Lectin-Light)
Developed by Dr. Steven Gundry, the Plant Paradox approach argues that lectins in grains, legumes, nightshades, and some fruits can damage the gut lining. The protocol emphasizes pasture-raised meats, wild fish, leafy greens, cruciferous vegetables, avocados, and olive oil. Pressure cooking can neutralize lectins in beans. Controversial in mainstream nutrition — and genuinely useful for a subset of autoimmune and GI patients.
